Ras Al-bar Is significant with strategic relevance to the local fish industry. Damietta is renowned for its substantial fish production, accounting for 60% of the fish industry in Egypt. Moreover, Ras Al-bar and its neighboring region, Ezbet El-borj, house approximately 65% of the fishing fleet in Egypt, employing over 80,000 individuals in the fishing industry and related sectors. Where The Damietta Nile branch serves as a natural harbor for the fishing fleet. However, there is a huge waste in the production due to the unorganized and unprepared spaces for retailing or auctioning this products. This project serves both of Ras Al-bar and Ezbet El-borj to create a sustainable environment for fish production and trading, To increase their production and exporting rates and increase the income of their residents.
